Philippine Travels # 4: Oh, the places you can go! (4)

Allow me to start this part of the GNE series by saying that at this part of the journey, we pretty much looked like grilled shrimp (forgive the metaphor or mental the image, just believe we look less than glamorous. Not saying, of course, that our natural state of being is “glamorous”).

Anyway, after bidding adieu to Playa resort, we went to Former President Ferdinand Marcos’ Malacañang of the North, Fort Ilocandia, and Paoay Church, before we sat down once again to have a scrumptious meal of empanada and rode the 3 hour ride back to Sarrat.

As usual, photos.

Beat, but not beaten (hah!), from the journey, we grabbed a few hours of sleep before waking up again to welcome ourselves to the last frontier of Ilocos Norte – Pagudpod.

(Props, once more, to Ms. Austria’s eye for colour and light.)
